STUDI PERANCANGAN ANTENA MICROSTRIP MONOPOLE BENTUK PATCH SEGITIGA DENGAN TEKNIK DEFECTED GROUND STRUCTURE UNTUK APLIKASI ULTRA-WIDEBAND

Study on the design of a microstrip monopole antenna as form support and development UWB (Ultra-Wideband) wireless communication devices. The basic concept proposed is minimalist with characteristics operating broadband in accordance those regulated by FCC (Federal Communications Commission). planar type triangular radiation using DGS (Defected Ground Structure) technique for trapezoidal ground plane. As this research, Duroid RT 5880 substrate material CST software were used simulation method. results method obtained are twofold: shape configuration compact performance parameters. For parameters through methods, such fractional bandwidth return loss below 10 dB 3.8:1 (VSWR < 2), maximum power transmittance 2.59dBi, forming an omnidirectional pattern vertical polarization. spectrum able to cover frequency area C-Band X-band application, supports LAN satellite systems.
